LED Candles from the Dollar Tree DIY

I am so much enjoying making different Christmas crafts. My latest is LED candles with Winter images. I download an image that I like and print it on tissue paper. Here is a simple "You tube" tutorial on how to do it. How to print on Tissue Paper
After doing this I gently tear around the image that I want for the candle. Apply modpodge to the candle where I want to apply the image. Gently apply the picture. I use a small wadded up piece of plastic wrap to smooth out the picture from the center outwards. Next I let this dry and apply another coat of modpodge to the picture. After this is almost completely dry I apply modpodge to the rest of the candle. I sprinkle glitter glass over it, regular glitter would work. Then I let this dry.  Here you have a beautiful candle for a little over a dollar.
I wish I knew how to fix my blog so that you could leave comments.  Hope you enjoy this quick little tutorial.

DIY Pillow Cases

I love watching you tube videos by "Missouri Star Quilt Co.", she has a variety of tutorials on many things. She has a simple tutorial for making pillow cases. I decided to make them for my grandchildren for Christmas. Here are the two I have made for the girls. I am still on the look out for the right fabric for the boys. I think they turned out so cute. Such a fun and quick project. Here is a link to the video. Pillowcase tutorial

Mini Mouse is for Ruby.

The skulls I don't really like but my teenage granddaughter Riley loves them.

Dollar Tree DIY

I have been having a ball watching videos on Dollar Tree Christmas Hauls and Dollar Tree DIY
I am getting all kinds of ideas.

I made two pictures using frames from the dollar tree, a piece of scrap book paper, a Christmas ornament, some snowflake stickers and some ribbon.

I love how they turned out. And only a little over $2.00 each. I would like to share my projects with you.

I am not sure what is going on with blogger, but for some reason no comments are showing up on my posts. I did have an email stating that someone tried.

Having fun making wreaths

I have been having a ball watching you tube videos on making wreaths using mostly dollar store materials.
I have made five so far and am having so much fun. I will show you my creations. I know I don't post very often but I haven't been getting any comments. I know blogger has changed. If you see this post please leave me a comment, so I know if my blog is being seen. Now for the wreaths. I am especially proud of the red truck wreaths. And my grandson Jake and I made the reindeer one for his house, he had so much fun and is proud of his wreath.

It seems like the Red Truck decor is very popular again this year. I decided to make a wreath with the red truck theme. I am proud of how it turned out. Pictures just don't to justice. Next I will be making a Nativity Wreath, I will share pictures when it is complete.
