Some new creations and March Christmas Gift

I haven't been blogging for at least two weeks, I have had computer issues and finally bought a new computer. I don't like change so I am struggling with learning how to download photos and do different things on this computer. I also lost some of my patterns and pictures, so that is upsetting.
I finished the punch needle project that sweet Sandy, "The Primitive Hutch" sent me.
I love this snowgirl. I am thinking of putting this project on an old cutting board, so I am on the
lookout for a cutting board.
I also finished another punch needle project and a "Little House on the Prairie" sampler.
I also wanted to share the March Christmas gift from my grandchildren Cole and Riley.

Wonderful Surprise in the mail

Today I received the most wonderful surprise in the mail. Robin, "The Primitive Hutch"

sent me a package. I thought now what could it be. Well to my surprise it is a needle punch pattern

and weavers cloth to go with it. I almost cried. I am new to needle punch and if any of you are

familiar with it, it can be very expensive, especially the patterns.  I have only bought one pattern.

Robin and I have talked back and forth about patterns and she told me to check out " Country Stitches"

patterns. I especially loved a snowgirl pattern and even told Robin that, well what did she go

and do but send me the pattern with the weavers cloth.

How sweet and kind of Robin. It has really touched my heart, blogger friends are the best.

If you don't know Robin stop by her blog, she makes the most wonderful prims, I am lucky to own

some of her creations. Thank you again Robin, your kindness really touched my heart. You are a special friend.

New Spring Creations

I decided to make a few bunnies since I am dreaming of Spring. One is a pin keep, the other is a setting or hanging bunny. I am quite please with how they turned out. I rarely keep anything I make for myself, but these bunnies may be something that I keep.
???? Now what will be my next project, a bunny, cross stitch or needle punch,
I just want to do it all. Or should I make another quilt?

Winnings and needle punch

I was thrilled to find out that I was the winner of a giveaway that Debbie of "WoolenSales"
had. I was able to pick out a free epattern or epattern booklet. Since I am new to punch needle,
and don't have very many patterns, I decided to pick her Winter e-pattern book.
It is full of projects. So now I am all set with Winter patterns. Check out Debbie's blog,
she is very talented and offers patterns for sale.
A few weeks ago I showed you my first needle punch, it was a snowman pattern by Doreen Frost.
I was so proud of it, but look back and think how terrible that it looks, he he
You could see alot of the Weaver's cloth showing, so I decided to try it again. It isn't perfect, but
I can tell with each needle punch that I do I am improving. I will have to say, I like this one.

New Needle Punch Projects

I am really enjoying my new pass time Needle Punching, I finished two projects that I have been working on. Both patterns are by "Notforgotten Farm". Last weekend my husband and I was
able to go spend a weekend in WV at our farmhouse, where I worked on my needle punch, read a book and relaxed by the fire. Ronnie took  pictures of me, but I didn't get any of him.
Today is his birthday, we are meeting the kids and grandkids for supper. I made him a homemade,
from scratch cake for his Birthday, it is the recipe off of the back of the Hershey Cocoa box,
it is such a wonderful cake and easy. He loves it! Happy Birthday Ronnie! Hope your Birthday is a special one!
