Summer just flew by and now I am back at school as a school nurse. I still work in my hair salon a few eve. and some Sat.
My mom has really had a rough year, she broke her hip in Feb. we found out in May that she has Nash non alcoholic fatty liver disease, chirrosis, and is having symptoms from that. Then two weeks ago she fell and broke her ankle in two places. She has had two surgeries on her ankle and will require another surgery. Last week when they got her up for therapy, she told the therapist she couldn't stand on her other leg, that is the one she had a broken hip and a broken femur 3 years ago. When she stood it cracked. They are hoping with a brace that that leg heals. She has been in the hospital over 2 weeks, we are hoping sometime next week that she will be transferred to rehab.
Please pray for my mom, it is so hard working when all of this is going on.
But I did want to show you a photo of some heirloom sunflowers that a wonderful friend Trish from
Arizona had sent me in the spring. She used to have a blog but doesn't anymore. We have remained friends and I cherish her friendship.
I also want to show you my new bedroom quilt and curtains. It is amazing how something new can
make a person feel so good. Wishing everyone a beautiful Labor Day Weekend.

So sorry that your mom is in hospital. I hope she will come through it all safely but I do sympathise with you at this time.

Oh goodness, praying for your dear mother. My mother fell a few weeks ago and was bruised severely (still healing), and received a few stitches in her head. 'Love the new bedroom quilt and curtains. The sunflowers are so pretty- one of my favorites as well. Prim blessings.
Oh dear Lecia, that is so much to go through. Prayers for your mom, and quick healing.Prayers for you and your family, that you may have the needed strength and support you need so that you can help her.
I totally LOVE your bedroom's prim look. I love the stars.
And sunflowers are one of my favorites.
Have a blessed Sunday and a wonderful week. Hugs
So sorry your mom is going through so much Lecia, will certainly keep her uplifted in prayer. Love your new quilt and curtains, also love the pretty sunflowers!
Prayers for your mamma! I love your new quilt and curtains, so pretty. I've been looking around online for new bedding and hope to find something nice. I tend to look for stars, thankfully primitive stars are not just patriotic. I love patriotic but hubby wouldn't want a red, white, & blue bedspread all year long. lol
Hi dear! Good to see your blog post. I am hoping to catch up on my blog this week. First have to fill a few orders and finished a bunch of tomato sauce I am making. The Summer sure has flown by. I'm still praying for your Mom every day. Lovin' your new quilt...I've been looking for one for a while, but I am so darn picky! LOL Sending blessings to you and Ronnie. :-)
I'm sorry for your mom. May your beautiful posts bounce back and reach you in a time of need. Very warming blog.
Lecia, good to catch up with you! I am so sorry about your mom and I have added her to my prayer list. Your bedroom is so inviting and I love everything, especially the new quilt! Have a good fall!
Be blessed,
Cindi
