tomorrow. This package was a surprise and it was from a very sweet lady , Linda, Parkers Paradise
Linda has one of the biggest hearts and is one of the kindest persons that I have ever met.
Thank you Linda, for surprising me, I love my goodies!
Look at this wonderful old sewing basket filled with old sewing notions. ( Look at the needle pack, the old tape measure and other goodies),. she also included a quilting book.
I wanted you to see some of the prices on the threads, but they aren't showing up too well. There is some for 29 cents, some for 35 cents. Wow
I kept thinking what awesome thing can I do with all of this beautiful thread, I saw one of my old green canning jars and it hit me, doesn't it look awesome in the jar!!!!
Thank you Linda, I love my goodies!!!

Lecia,
What a great goodie box you got from Linda. I just love the old spools of thread in the jar! I have a jar with some old spools of thread that I got from an antique store and I just love how they look in the glass jars.
Hope you are having a great week.

Cindy
Hi Lecia! What lovely goodies you received! Lucky you. I love the idea of storing all those old spools of thread in a jar. I have a lot of old spools from my grandmother's things, and a nice big jar too, so tomorrow I'm going to do just that - Enjoy your surprises!
Wow, what a great box of goodies! Just think of all the bonnets you can stitch with that thread! :)
Lecia,

Linda sure has spoiled a few gals! She sounds like a very dear lady. I love the old threads and notions-I have some my MIL gave me years ago that I won't use but need to do something with like put in a shadow box or something. She at one time had her own upholstery business in her home.
Blessings,
Sheila
What a wonderful surprise! Linda has such a big heart and so kind. I love all those sewing goodies! Love the sewing basket and the quilting box too! Isn't it amazing how the cost of thread has jumped over the years?
Take Care,
