Beautiful Country Wedding

Yesterday my niece got married at our Farmhouse in WV, it was a simple country wedding, but so beautiful.
It is so peaceful at the farmhouse and such a beautiful place for a wedding.
I will share some photo's.
They also had a bluegrass band there, so it was a perfect day. Enjoyed seeing
family and friends and celebrating with Angel and Austin on their special day.

Wonderful Trip

Me and two of my sisters went to Lancaster, Pa. last week for two days. We had so much fun
and packed in as much fun as we could in those two days. We did a lot of driving in the country, ate lots of  Pa. Dutch cooking, did some shopping and went to see a play "Josiah for President", which was awesome and I recommend highly if you are in that area.
I was driving so my one sister was taking pictures, so I don't have any pictures of the amish. She
is supposed to send them to me.
But I will share a few photo's from our trip that I have.
First I will show some of the goodies that I purchased.

Summer Vacation

Last week my family and I went on vacation at the Outer Banks, in NC. We had such a fun time
as a family. I love the beauty of the beach and love seafood but am not a big beach person, who can lay on the beach all day. So I brought along a book and some needle work. It was so nice to relax and
just enjoy being with family. And the grand kids sure had fun. Except my granddaughter Riley had
swimmers ear and had to make two trips to the ER. I will share some photo's and  also one of the projects that I finished.

Good Ole Summertime

I am really enjoying my summer. I was able to take an apron applique class at a local quilt shop. I enjoyed it so much. I am always wanting to learn new things.
I love flowers and have some beautiful sunflowers, my stargazer lilies are also blooming
and do they smell yummy. I will share some pictures of them.
Hope you are having a beautiful Summer.

Good Ole Summertime

I sure have been enjoying my Summer break from school. I have a bucket list of things to do this Summer. I am doing some deep cleaning, windows, kitchen cabinets, closets etc, because once school starts I only have time for the basics.
I have also managed to do some crafting which I love to do. I made myself  a Pilgrim couple, pattern by Stacey Meade and have also been working on some Christmas gifts. I can't show them right now, as the person I made them for may see their surprise.
We also have a garden and I was just thrilled to be able to pick some fresh garden vegetables.
My mom is improving a little but with her disease I am not sure how much she will improve,
so I am helping out with my mom this Summer and enjoying my time with my parents.
Busy as a bee, that is me for sure. I also want to do some fun things with my grandchildren.
I like to take each one for a day of fun, plus we have a beach vacation planned to take with them.
I also ordered me a wool applique kit that I plant to make for myself for Winter.
Wishing you all a safe and fun Summer.

New Table Runner

Well I am finally out of school for the Summer, I have so many things that I want to do before school
starts in the fall. I have my windows washed and my kitchen cabinets cleaned. That is one thing off of my bucket list. I want to clean some closets, drawers etc. I am still working in my hair salon and helping with my mom. I want to spend some time doing some fun things with my grandchildren and
of course I want to do some crafting.
I was able to finish a quilted table runner, it was alot harder than I thought it would be. I had to watch a you tube video on how to put on binding about 4 times before I finally figured it out.
I also quilted the table runner with the stitch in the ditch method.

Here are some photo's of my table runner.
The finished top, it was like putting a puzzle together
