Today I received my first prize from the http://crowscreekprimitivesgatheringforum.blogspot.com/ giveaway. It is a pin keep made by Trish http://downgrannyscountryroad.blogspot.com/ ( the blog is her siister's Connie Joy), Isn't it the cutest pin keep!!! Check out her blog, she did an awesome job. I love it Trish. Thanks-You!!!!I should have taken a picture of how Trish had it packaged, she had such a cute cheesecloth tag aroung the package it is pictured beside the pinkeep.
My friend Gina, "Cat Nap Inn Primitives", bought a wonderful dustpan hanger from Appletreecottage on etsy. I loved it so much that I contacted Appletreecottage about making me a sign for my shop door. This is the picture she sent me of the finished product. I love it, what awesome talent.
Except for a few touch up spots I am finished painting. I painted over 40 hours. I am not a painter, but do it to save money. I painted the wall Lyndhurst Spring Eve. and trim Otter' Tail.
I have been painting like crazy, I love the new colors. All finished with the LR except my son still needs to put chair rail up on one side, to hide my poor painting lines. He He And yes I have a hoosier in my LR. My husband doesn't share my love for prims, he says I have the house looking like a museum. I still have the kitchen yet to paint. Here is some before and after pictures.P.S. Nothin fancy, but I like my museum!!!
Look at thel bonnet I received from Tammy Wellman http://ncprimitivesfromthepast.blogspot.com/ I love it Tammy, it is beautiful!!!!! This has been the second swap Tammy and I have done. Tammy is an awesome crafter and friend!!
I am quite proud of my very first candle mat. And this is only my second stitchery. I coffee stained it and am quite proud of how it has turned out. As much as I love it, I will probably give it away. He He

It is hard to believe I have had my blog for 10 years. I am married to my sweetheart Ronnie for 40 years now. I have a son and daughter, a wonderful son in law and 4 wonderful grandchildren. I work two jobs. I am a full time school nurse at a wonderful country school and a part time hairdresser. I love all types of crafting. I love making primitive prairie bonnets, dolls, love wool applique, making wreaths and cross stitching.
