Surprise from hubby!

Yesterday my hubby stopped at a yardsale and picked me up a little antique lunch pail for $3.00.

I love it when he thinks of me. I love the lunch pail, I do have another one just like it, that I would never part with,

that was my dad's when he went to school, it touched my heart when my dad gave it to me, he knew

that I loved it and it was so special to him. This is a photo of the one Ronnie gave me

I also wanted to share a picture of Riley my granddaughter, she just recently had to get glasses and

she loves pink, so of course she chose pink frames, isn't she adorable!!
And she is growing up sooo fast. She loves her glasses and couldn't wait to show everyone at school.

I rem. getting glasses in the sixth grade and didn't want to go to school for nothing, but mine were ugly.

So many pretty glasses to choose from now.

New Treasure

I have admired Carol, "Buttermilk Creek Farm". wonderful mice creations for a long time.

I decided to splurge and get myself one of her awesome mice. This one was very tempting, since

I love old Bemis Seamless feedsacks. And this Granny Girt is wearing a feedsack apron.

I love little dilly that granny is holding. Carol puts so much details into her creations.

I love my Granny Girt. Thank you Carol, stop by her blog, she is also hosting a wonderful giveaway

of one of her mice.

We have been very fortunate in the east this Winter, only one snow to talk about and that was in Oct.
We have been having some beautiful weather. So I decided to take down my snowmen and put up some Spring decor.
Many of my things are from other crafters, I did alot of swaps last year and totally decorated my house with

creations over the next several days. First I will be showing two primitive dolls , they are  both partially

rag stuffed and grunged for that look from olden days. The black doll is approximately 23" long and

the white doll approximately 22 " long. (The little shoes are not included and for display purposes only).

I am asking $32.99 for each doll plus shipping, Email me if interested. I accept paypal. Lecia123@verizon.net

Awesome find!

I love little girls button up shoes and have always wanted a pair. I do have a single shoe that means the

world to me since it was one of my friends grandmothers. It is special to me and I will never part with it.

But I have been on the look out for a pair, and I can't afford to pay fifty plus.

Well I was lucky enough to get a pair off ebay for $16.75. They are the cutest little shoes,  my mind wishes

that I could go back in time and see the little girl that wore them. They are infant shoes and well worn,

but such a precious find.

I set a little photo beside the shoes, the little baby in the photo could very well have worn a pair

of shoes like this.  I am so excited to have finally  have a little pair of button up shoes. I know you can

find them in solid black, these are beige and black,  so precious.
