What a wonderful surprise from a wonderful friend Sheila "Seasons of thy Heart" .

Sheila sent me one of her awesome arrangements and a pumpkin make do.  She knew I had

been having some rough spots in the road and just sent me a package of hugs.

I love my blogging friends and Sheila your thoughtfulness and kindness really touches my heart!

I love Sheila's arrangements so much, and as beautiful as they are in pictures, pictures do them no

justice, they are absolutely stunning in life. Thank you Sheila you are truly a special prim friend!!!

Wonderful Weekend

My husband and I went to our old farmhouse that we are remodling in WV for the weekend. He did several

hours of yard work and I cleaned inside for hours. Then Sat. we rode in the country on back roads and saw

so many beautiful sites. We saw some deer, wild turkey, squirrels and to top the list we saw a mammy bear

and her two cubs. But wild life is very jumpy, so everytime I got my camera to take pictures off they went.

I did get the deer and wild turkey, but they were so far away, it is hard to make out what they are in the

the pictures. We also saw a mother deer nursing her two little fawns, it was so cute and I have never

saw bears out in the wild. What an awesome site to see, and I was safe being in my vehicle. he he

I also managed to finish an entire penny rug. The pattern is a KM primitive pattern. I will share a few

pictures.

New fall items.

I haven't had alot of time for blogging lately with working both jobs and helping out with grandbabies.

Sometimes I will read a post and think I will go back later and comment, but I just don't have the time.

But I love you all and I haven't forgotten about you and love reading your posts.

I have been working on some fall things. I finally finished up everything. I want to keep a few

things for myself  but may have a blog sale on some of my things. Just a brain storm.

I may start on another fall penny rug.  Then I  want to make some Winter ones.

After that I may start on Christmas things for Christmas gifts. It really isn't that far away,

especially if we make our own gifts. Have a lovely day prim friends.

Surprise in the mail and a special little boys Birthday!

I just love my blogging friends, I was going though a few bumps in the road awhile back, as we

all do at times. And OML Marie, "Primitives form Olde Lady Morgan" sent me a little surprise in the mail.

Marie sent me one of her pumpkins. I love it Marie and it touched my heart so much to know that

you have been thinking of me. Check out Marie's blog, she is  one awesome crafter!

And now I want to show a few pictures of my littlest grandson "Jake Liam's" birthday celebration.

He is just soooo cute and  the sweetest little guy. Whatever I do for him he always says, "Thank-you Maw".

Jake turned 2 on August 13th. He was just so proud of his cake and toys and his cousins being here

with him.

Look at that Happy little face, he is the man of honor!!!!

New Pumpkin Dolls

I have been enjoying a few days off this summer and had planned on doing some extensive house cleaning.

But one of my friends gave me just the advice I needed to hear. Now these are words of wisdom, "she said,

I really need to clean my house, but there are things I would rather do." So I took those words to heart and

made crafts and let my extensive housework go. He He But I have enjoyed my summer.

Here are a few more pumpkin dolls that I have made,

This is a couple set, Jack and Jill,
I used a country stitches pattern.
