Giveaway prize from Parker's Paradise

Linda Parker , "Parker's Paradise", http://parkersparadise.blogspot.com/ had a giveaway and I was lucky enough to be a winner. It was for an adorable pin keep. Well when I opened the package there was all kinds of goodies present. The pin keep, made from a little baby shoe, 2 dolies, a little tin pan, wall hanging kit, candle tart, wooden bowl full of beautiful strawberries, and a litte American Flag. Thank you Linda, I love everything!!!

Swap goodies arrived.

Please note the package says swap alert drop everything!!! And I did!!!!I kinda hinted for the pumpkin man and told her I did have an enamel pan when I saw the pumpkin and mouse .
OMG Look what I found on my porch today, I am so thrilled, I feel like I just returned from an awesome craft show. I did a textile swap that Char, The Pickled Pepper Patch hosted. My partner was Becky from http://primitivesnstitchin.blogspot.com/  I couldn't have been matched up with any better partner. I have a prim friend for life. We had so much fun emailing each other about our swap. Becky you outdid yourself!!! I really , really love everything!!! New Signs from Andy's Primitive Farmhouse

Prairie Bonnets

So here they are my first attempt at making prairie bonnets (Just need to coffee stain them). The first three are the ones that I have made. The first one, well it may fit a dolls head. He He And it took me hours to make these! I think maybe the next one I make I will be faster.All I can say is that I would starve to death if this was my livelihood. I am bad at reading patterns, so I just kinda guess on some things. But I am proud!!!!

It is hard to believe I have had my blog for 10 years. I am married to my sweetheart Ronnie for 40 years now. I have a son and daughter, a wonderful son in law and 4 wonderful grandchildren. I work two jobs. I am a full time school nurse at a wonderful country school and a part time hairdresser. I love all types of crafting. I love making primitive prairie bonnets, dolls, love wool applique, making wreaths and cross stitching.
