Curtains to match my quilt

I have had this quilt "Star Dance", for a couple years, finally got curtains to match. I used only one panel for a window, with a star hook so I can pull them back. What do you think? But now since my collection is complete I want a coverlet and matching homespun sheets, just another prim dream.

Just a reminder, don't forget to sign up for my giveaway, which ends June 12th. Also this week-end my husband and I went to our farmhouse in WV. Look on my blog for updated slide shows. This first picture is of an out building door, the second is the view of the mountains this morning. My husband and I went on a date last night, riding around on the back roads in the country.

I remember our veterans today, who have sacrificed so that I can live in freedom. My father was a marine in the 1950's and was always so proud of this. My husband was in the army 76-80. My son Luke was actually born at the Ft. Belvoir, Va. army hospital. I want to thank all the service men and woman for serving our great country. God Bless America!!!!

Rhubarb-Strawberry Dump Cake

While on my trip to Lancaster, Pa. I had to stop at a roadside stand and get some fresh rhubarb and strawberries. Here is a cake that I made:

4 cups cubed raw rhubarb
2 cups fresh sliced strawberries
3/4 cup sugar ( Splenda works)
3 oz. pkg. strawberry jello, dry ( diet works)
1 1/4 cup water
1/2 stick butter melted

Layer ingredients in order given in a 9 x 13 " baking pan. Do not mix. Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 min.
Serve plain or with cool whip on top. Makes 12 servings.

Jar with candle burning inside
