Some of my project

I don't know if you are like me or not but I enjoy making some of my Christmas gifts.
I didn't  show pictures earlier because I was afraid the recipients would see them. Since I am working
two jobs, I had to make most of my gifts during the summer, since one of my jobs is a school nurse, and I am off during the summer.I am already thinking ahead of
what I can make this year. Most things I made I gave away. I want to make myself a few things this year. One of my Christmas gifts was a gripper frame to do needle punch. So I am hoping to make myself something. I also have a few new cross stitch patterns and some wool applique kits.
Just wish I had more time, but if I could work 15 min. each day I know I would be surprised at
what I could get accomplished.
Now to show you some of my work. Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year!
Can't wait to see what projects you will be working on.
And if you could please say a little prayer for me, I am having such a hard time dealing with
my mothers' passing. I miss her so much.

Can't forget my side kick Little Bo, I love this cute Puppy!

  1. These old trucks always remind me of my gramma B's green Ford truck. We went everywhere in it! I am with you...need more time to do something for myself. I am going to try and do a cross stitch project this year, so hopefully it will get done. Sweet gifts and als a sweet pup! Janice

  2. Oh they are all so cute...the mittens are my favorite. Thanks for sharing, I am sure there were a lot of thankful people that opened these gifts from you hands and heart ❤️. Continuing to pray for you.

  3. Hi Lecia,
Loved seeing all of your beautiful projects over the year and I'm sure all who received them will treasure them!! Losing our mom's is so hard and I will keep you in my prayers!!
May the New Year hold many blessings for you!!
    Heart Hugs~

  4. Oh Sweet Lecia....I have missed so much being away from blogging...and am so very sorry to read of your mother's passing... Of course you will be in my prayers...will be doing them overtime to make up for missed time. :0( Your projects are all have such talent in your hands. If I were to post what projects I accomplished this past year, it would be a non-existent post... Sigh. I truly hope to make that a somewhat priority in my life again soon. Smiles & Best Wishes for the New Year ~ Robin

  5. All lovely gifts. Yes, most of my gifts are handmade. Hoping your New Year is going well :)

  6. I'm so sorry Lecia to learn of your mother's passing. I will keep you uplifted in prayer for sure. You have done lots of beautiful work! I especially love those pick ups! I bought me a pattern but have not done it of course.

About Me

My photo
I have been married to my sweetheart Ronnie for 30 years. We live in the beautiful shenandoah valley of Va. We have 2 beautiful children and 3 beautiful grandchildren. I am a christian, and am blessed with two wonderful jobs. I am a hairdresser and also a nurse, I am proud of my nursing degree which I got at age 47. I give the Lord much praise for this. I also enjoy primitive crafts, antiquing, cooking, reading and gardening. My husband and I bought an old farmhouse in WV five years ago and it was ancient, floor rotted out in the kitchen, no bathroom, bats flying around, mice. Scary, well now five years later we have most of it completed, working now on a roof for the wrap around porch. We sand blasted some of the walls so they would be original, we also took all the old weatherboarding off of the outside of the house, planed it and put it back on some of the inside walls. We also have added a wrap around porch. Since we have remodled the old farmhouse, that is how I came up with my blog name.
