I made a new penny rug , it is nothing but penny's. I am quite tickled with it.
Ronnie and I spent the other weekend at the farmhouse in WV and after mowing and giving it a good
cleaning we took a drive in the country and ended up going to Dolly Sods a national park,
the landscaping there is much like Canada, and all the tree branches grow to one side.
I have been working on a few fall crafts for next months Early Work Mercantile.
I love things from the garden, even though I don't have a garden I live in an area where
I have the opportunity to get garden food. Yesterday I had fresh green beans with country ham
pieces, fried yellow squash and fresh corn on the cob. I bought the corn off of a local farmer,
while I was there the sweetest lady came up to me and was talking. She recognized me from my blog.
Even though she doesn't have a blog she loves reading them. She was telling me how much she loved
Jean of Prim Crafts blog, Trace, Grannie, Trace and Scraps, Linda, Parkers Paradise and Karen
Of My Colonial Home, We had such a nice conversation, and can you believe that I forgot to ask
her her name, but it was nice talking to you if you read this, and I almost got tears in my eyes when
she told me that she prayers for my daughter. That really touched my heart.
Wishing you all a lovely summer day!
