I love all your Americana. I'm a big fan of that myself! The doll your hubby got is adorable! A floral quilting pattern would be pretty and would show up better if the backing had no print on it. Then you could flip it to tan with the pretty quilting over it if you got tired of all the patterns.frontporchprimshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14815092182786250888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3772123767368653224.post-86611430567163494292014-05-14T06:07:38.548-04:002014-05-14T06:07:38.548-04:00It's a beautiful quilt! I've quilted for ...It's a beautiful quilt! I've quilted for years, and I would suggest any color but cream or black. Like Deb said, cream would show any dirt. Black would definitely give it a pop of color, and quilters love that pop! But there isn't much black in your quilt. I would search your scraps and either make a binding of something that blends more with your quilt or else make a scrappy binding that would tie in the colors you've already used. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!Mary @ Neat and Tidyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00160435782347545564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3772123767368653224.post-31942187804882666182014-05-11T22:19:19.078-04:002014-05-11T22:19:19.078-04:00Great quilt top! I know I'm probably not helping much, but those are the colors I would audition with it. :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17378322375866924741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3772123767368653224.post-47524915419027016062014-05-11T17:39:01.302-04:002014-05-11T17:39:01.302-04:00Beautiful quilt top Lecia ~ I'm not a quilter ...Beautiful quilt top Lecia ~ I'm not a quilter either but I don't think I would use black ~ it might be to harsh for your beautiful quilt. Very cute doll and love your window box!Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08202241672864661004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3772123767368653224.post-72978628159297616702014-05-10T06:20:43.346-04:002014-05-10T06:20:43.346-04:00I'm emailing you : )I'm emailing you : )Shirleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04117632465099828622noreply@blogger.com
