Summer Vacation

Last week my family and I went on vacation at the Outer Banks, in NC. We had such a fun time
as a family. I love the beauty of the beach and love seafood but am not a big beach person, who can lay on the beach all day. So I brought along a book and some needle work. It was so nice to relax and
just enjoy being with family. And the grand kids sure had fun. Except my granddaughter Riley had
swimmers ear and had to make two trips to the ER. I will share some photo's and  also one of the projects that I finished.

Hi my Friend, looks like everyone had a great time. :)
I haven't followed your blog for very long so i don't think I've seen a picture of you. Are you in one of the pics or are you taking the pics?
I just LOVE your finished project. I so love everything winter. I miss the cold winters of Wyoming and Utah so much.
I am glad you've had a great summer. Almost time for school again.
Take care, Janet W

Glad you had such fun at the OBX. I am a beach person, and miss it so much. Love your finished project! I was going to take some wool applique with me on our trip, but never got around to prepping the pieces beforehand.
