My finished Table Runner

My two sisters and I finished our beginners quilting class. We had such a wonderful instructor,
she had so much patience and explained everything in detail. I know my runner isn't perfect, but I am
quite pleased with how it turned out. And it was so much fun doing this with my sisters.
The fabric I used was a civil war reproduction fabric, by Marcus brothers. I love their fabric.

I want to make a quilt one day, but think I will make a few table runners and table squares for now.

The finished table runner.

Love the fabric for the backing

My little Grandson Jake turned 4 on Aug. 13th. He is such a joy  and so special. I want to share a few
pictures from his party. He is really into Spiderman and Superman, he was just overjoyed with his cake.
It was so cute, Cole was reading Jake his cards, it was so precious. My how time flies seems like
yesterday I was going to the hospital in anticipation of his births.Happy Birthday Jake!!!!

Oh my, a "Spiderman" cake!!!

I just couldn't help it and had to stick my finger in the cake.

Thank you Cole for reading my cards
