Coverlet or Homespun Blanket?

Blogger friends I need your help. I would love to have a coverlet but don't feel like I can afford to pay the price for one. I know that sometimes people use these homespun blankets for coverlets. I have black curtains with a cream design throughout the curtains. So which blanket should I pick the black/stripped or brick/stripped? Also what would you do for the pillowcase, two pillow cases or a bolster? Any prim suggestions will be appreciated!!! ( P.S. I forgot to mention, these bedrooms are pictures of the blankets that I like, they are not my bedrooms, I wish they were). Sorry I forgot to mention this earlier.

I am totally loving the red brick one..it matches your wall paper and I love red..but I do love black too..so maybe some black pillows to go with your curtains to tie it all in...you could even do some cross stitching on some pillows to add to that vintage look..I can't wait to see what you come up with.:)

I would go with the black one. That way if you ever want to change colors, black goes with everything. Just a thought, You could get one of the table squares and make pillow cases out of that. Could use red there for accent. Good luck, no matter what you can't go wrong. Love all the Family heirloom weavers stuff! OLm
